Simple installation on the “SC-500” Sample Crush Tester (Code: 040101).
Applicable to single and double wall boards. For triple wall boards, the test loses reliability.
Test result as a percentage of the ratio between the force required to break the scored sample and the force required to break the unscored sample.
By comparing the obtained ratio with an established range based on materials that perform well, each manufacturer sets an approval / failure criterion for each type of cardboard tested.
