Dedicated tester to produce colour prints of conventional and UV gravure inks. The G1-5 printability testers consist of an exchangeable engraved printing form which is inked with the aid of a doctor blade, and an impression cylinder.

Printing speed: 0.2 - 1.0 m/s, adjustable in five increments.
Printing pressure: 100 - 1000 N.
The disc is set to the correct pressure, performs the printing, and lifts automatically.
The doctor blade is placed against the mold and lifts automatically.
Maximum substrate thickness: 4 mm.

ENGRAVED DISC:

Printing width: 50 mm.
Printing length: approx. 140 mm (2nd print).
Available range of discs:
- A wide selection of copper-engraved and chrome-plated discs for specific ink film weights.
- Special discs can also be manufactured based on customer specifications.

DOCTOR BLADE:

Width: 52 mm.
Angle: 60°, by drag.
Pressure: 6 - 7 N.
Type: MDC60.
