Advanced printing device, specially developed for printing accurate and reproducible proofs of (mixed) colours on a specific substrate. The correlation with the commercial printing press enables reproducible proofing, with the least possible dropouts during the printing process.
The ink section with an engraved anilox roller and doctoring system, a sector with the printing form (photopolymer) and a sector on which the substrate is mounted generate a high-quality print according to a pre-set profile. A powerful computer accurately controls all movements. Profiles can be easily created and/or adjusted on the touchscreen monitor.

Main application:
• Colour measurement, colour-matching, Visual appraisal, Assessing the resistance of printed materials to liquid and solid agents, solvents, varnishes and acids, Optical tests: Gloss, colorimetry, transparency and reflection denisity.
• Printing settings can be stored in a profile.
• Printing speed: 0.2 – 1.2 m/s.
• Impression cylinder and anilox roll are automatically brought under pressure, printed and lifted with the help of sensors.
• Doctor blade is automatically placed against anilox and lifted.
• Printing width on substrate: 95 mm.
• Printing length on substrate: 280 mm.
• Anilox can be inked at user defined number of revolutions.
• Photopolymer cylinder can be inked at user defined number of revolutions.
• Suitable for many substrates and inks.
Anilox rolls:
• Several volumes are available for the application of different quantities of ink. Custom-made anlilox rolls can be made on specification.
• Ceramic, S pattern, laser engraved.
• Screen ruling: 395, 235, 140 l/cm (1000, 600, 355 l/inch).
• Volumes: 3.5, 6.0, 10.0 cm³/m² (2.3, 3.8, 6.5 BCMI).
Open-chamber doctoring system:
• Doctor blade angle: 55 – 65°.
• Printing form and printing cylinder.
• Various printing forms can be mounted: Different thicknesses solid and/or screened photopolymers. The printing from (photopolymer) can be easily clamped and changed. If required, a compressible cliché tape can be mounted underneath the photopolymer.
