Equipment used to determine the Gurley Porosity.

This is the most popular and traditional model for measuring porosity and air permeability in materials with average values.

The test consists of the time it takes a certain volume of air to pass through a paper. The side of the paper by which we measure is indistinct. In the manual equipment, we count the time using a chronometer. The process of clamping the sample, releasing the cylinder and putting it into its original position is all manual.
