Equipment for the determination of rigidity, through resonance. Easy to use equipment, with results comparable to other methods. The measuring principle of the dynamic flexural rigidity, under normalized conditions, is calculated using the vibrating resonance length of a sample attached to an extremity. Calculation of the resistance to dynamic bending from this value and the grammage of the tested material. The equipment vibrates the sample at a stable frequency and determine the rigidity through a formula with the free length of the sample when it reaches its greatest amplitude of vibration and with the grammage of the paper tested.
