FIRE RESISTANCE OF ELECTRIC CABLES (AB01) - noselab

This test is carried out to verify circuit integrity even during a fire.

A sample of cable is held horizontally over a ribbon flame at about 750 °C. A test voltage is applied continuously for a period of 3 hours to the cable and no break or short circuit should occur in the cable. (not supplied). Complying with Standard: IEC 60331-11, BS 6387(C-W-Z), EN 50200, procedure IEC 60331-21.
