DIGITAL TWIN FOLDING TESTER “LHOMARGY TYPE” (IB-574)

The equipment, designed to determine the resistance to double folds in paper, is known as the Plyometer model 574 according to ISO 5626 (Lhomargy apparatus).

The test method consists of determining the number of folds that a paper strip can withstand under constant pressure before breaking.

A double fold is defined as the deformation produced in the test specimen by a complete back-and-forth movement of the folding blade incorporated in the apparatus.
