The IDM Test team participated in ColombiaPlast 2026, held at Corferias in Bogotá last week. The trade show brought together professionals and companies involved in the plastics, rubber, petrochemical, and packaging industries, providing a venue to learn about the latest technologies and trends in the sector.
During the event, we presented various testing and quality control solutions tailored to the plastics industry, with a special focus on our Universal Testing Machines.
Among these, we showcased the DTC, a dual-column machine developed for high-load testing of plastics and polymers, metals, rubber, and even textiles. We also presented the MTC/MTC-L, a single-column solution for low- and medium-load testing, particularly suited for applications such as plastics, films and sheets, flexible packaging, adhesives, and other materials.
The trade show allowed us to showcase these solutions up close and, above all, to understand the specific needs of industry professionals, exchange experiences, and identify new challenges related to materials quality control.
Our participation in ColombiaPlast strengthens IDM Test’s presence in Latin America and allows us to continue bringing our technology and technical expertise to an industry in constant evolution.
