The permeability testing is one of the most common testing in packaging papers, a sector which IDM Test knows very well. This testing is also very important in all kind of papers and cardboards.

The Cobb equipments have been developed to test the paper and cardboard liquid permeability in the lab.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC COBB – IDM Test:

Standards: ISO 535, SCAN P12, DIN 53 132, TAPPI T441, BS EN 20535.

MANUAL COBB – IDM Test:

Composed of a cylinder and an independent roller. The portable timer and the blotting paper are necessary to perform the test ofpermeability in the laboratory.
