Committed to the practical training of future engineers

IDM Test regularly collaborates with educational centres where young people are trained in fields related to engineering, electronics and mechanics, both in university degrees and higher education.

The latest collaboration of this type has been with two groups of international students in the second year of Mechanical Engineering at Tecnun (Universidad de Navarra). 

To complete one of their subjects with a project on Machines and Materials, they had to learn about a production process that had an effect on some material. IDM Test invited them to our headquarters in San Sebastian where they were able to see live the operation of different equipment, focusing their work on the sheet former and its vital importance in the paper manufacturing process.
