FLAME PROPAGATION OF FLOORING SYSTEMS

Determines the radiant heat critical flux on flooring systems.  30º inclined panel is positioned inside an insulated cabinet equipped with a pneumatic lifting shutter.  Gas Flow and temperature control system.  Radiometer and optical pyrometer to detect the test conditions according to standards.

 

 

EPIRADIATOR

Combustion chamber to determine the flammability index and the combustion development of rigid and flexible materials.  The epiradiator develops a power of 500W,; the temperature measurement device is composed of 5 thermocouples positioned in the bottom part, and 5  hermocouples positioned in the upper outlet. Data are processed by PC.

 

EPIRADIATOR (DRIPPING TEST)

100 mm dia quartz Epiradiator generating 500 W power, equipped with tension variator and copper calorimetric disc with K-type thermocouple inserted inside a 25 mm combustion resistant cover. The calorimetric disc has a diameter of 100 mm, and a thickness of 10 mm.  The system detects radiation data which can be sent either to a recorder or to a voltmeter.
